Viral Character ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Viral Character character video studio and related services (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you visit our website, create an account, or use our AI-powered script, studio, and rendering tools.

By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Account information. When you sign up, we collect your email address and authentication credentials (or OAuth profile data if you sign in with Google). We may also store a display name and profile details you provide in the studio.

Content you provide. This includes scripts, cast configurations, voice selections, uploaded media, project settings, and exported videos you create through the Service.

Usage and technical data. We collect information about how you interact with the Service, such as pages visited, features used, credit consumption, render jobs, device type, browser, IP address, and approximate location derived from IP.

Payment information. If you purchase a paid plan or credits, payment processing is handled by our third-party payment provider. We receive billing status and subscription metadata but do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.

We use collected information to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
• Authenticate users and manage accounts
• Process scripts, generate media, and fulfill render requests
• Track credits, subscriptions, and billing
• Improve features, performance, and security

To deliver scripts, voices, and video output, your prompts and project data may be processed by AI and infrastructure providers we use to run the Service. We request that providers process data only to perform services on our behalf and subject to appropriate confidentiality and security obligations.

Do not submit sensitive personal data (e.g., government IDs, health information, or financial account details) into prompts or uploads unless you have a lawful basis to do so and accept the associated risk.

We may share information with:

• Service providers — hosting, authentication (e.g., Supabase), storage, analytics, email, payment, and AI/media processing vendors
• Legal and safety — when required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, and integrity of the Service

We do not sell your personal information.

We retain account and project data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may delete projects from your library where the product supports it. We may retain certain logs and backups for security, fraud prevention, and legal compliance for a limited period thereafter.

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You can update account details in the studio settings where available, or contact us to exercise your rights.

You may opt out of non-essential marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in those messages. Transactional emails related to your account may still be sent.

If you access the Service from outside the country where our servers or providers operate, your information may be transferred to and processed in other jurisdictions that may have different data protection laws.

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided data and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
